Man At Large After Stabbing Outside Linden Bowling Alley: Police

A 25-year-old Newark man was stabbed outside a bowling alley in Linden on Friday, Nov. 8, authorities said.

At 6:10 p.m., officers responded to Linden Lanes at 741 N. Stiles St. and found the victim, Linden police said in a release. The man had been involved in an argument with a co-worker, Easkon Walker, a 44-year-old Elizabeth man, police said. Walker pulled a knife and stabbed him multiple times before fleeing the scene, police said.

The victim was treated on scene and taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, police said.

Walker is charged with third-degree aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and other weapons related charges, police said. He remains at large, police said.
